No junk: the new website of Gebeshuber

syreta carries out relaunch of the existing online presence

Scrap iron and non-ferrous metals – these are what the company Eisenhandel Gebeshuber GmbH in Steyr trades in. The waste from the metalworking industry as well as household waste is collected, separated and sent for recycling using the most modern methods.

The company’s existing website has now also been recycled. With the support of syreta, a relaunch was carried out. Customers can now find all information about the company’s services and products – clearly presented.

New: the website now also has a login area for partners. Anyone who logs in with an email address and password can see the daily metal prices. In addition, the customer or partner receives individual information.

The website is designed to be responsive, i.e. optimized for mobile devices (cell phone, tablet).

What makes the Gebeshuber website technically interesting is the partner login with daily metal prices. Commodity prices in trading are volatile real-time data – updating them manually every day would be time-consuming and error-prone. The login area handles this elegantly: partners always see the current status without anyone needing to be informed by email.

For a recycling company that has been collecting, separating and sending metals for recycling since 1972, this is a pragmatic step into digitalization – not a big statement, but a noticeable gain in everyday work.
