Delivery can optionally be made by post or collected via refrigerated pick-up stations, offering flexibility and convenience when shopping.
For this innovative e-commerce solution, the Pfeiffer retail group, which Unimarkt belongs to, was awarded the Retail Technology Award in the category “Best Multichannel Solutions” last week by the EHI Retail Institute in Düsseldorf. The award recognizes the successful integration of a digital shop, in-store logistics, and modern delivery options, creating a seamless shopping experience for customers.
What the EHI Retail Technology Award means for syreta is more than a line on a résumé. The EHI Retail Institute is one of the most renowned research and education institutions for retail in Europe – an award from there is a verdict from experts.
That Unimarkt receives this award confirms what syreta demonstrated with the project: online grocery retail with true omnichannel logic works when the technical implementation is solid. Orders online, picking in the store, delivery by post or pickup at refrigerated stations – in 2015 in Austria, that was not a given. Today it is standard. Back then, it was innovation.
