Energy supplier Kreuzmayr gets a new website delivered

A brand-new website with a focus on customer service

Not only years of experience, but also the broad product range—spanning from heating oil to diesel, gasoline and solid fuels, all the way to AdBlue and alkylate fuel—have made the family business Kreuzmayr a fixture in Austria’s energy landscape. In addition, the Kreuzmayr Group, which operates under the slogan “Energy with sympathy,” has established another mainstay with the pink filling stations. Since the first opening in 2006 in Wilhering, Upper Austria, 18 additional locations in Upper and Lower Austria have been added. For the innovative fuel station brand pink, we were already able to design and implement the website with our expertise. That is why we were especially pleased to also be entrusted with planning and programming an appealing website for the Kreuzmayr Group.

Information and ordering with one click

In addition to self-evident features such as simple navigation and a responsive design, the Kreuzmayr Group’s focus from the very beginning of the project was on customer friendliness. The energy supplier not only offers its customers a heat subscription, but also had the smart minds at syreta work on a very special form. After entering just a few details, such as the desired product type, quantity and address, interested customers are shown the current daily price for their energy product live via the form. There is no faster way to receive a tailored price quote. In addition, the specially designed form also offers the option to order the desired fuel directly via the website.

What the live price form has to deliver technically is demanding: daily energy prices, which vary by product type, quantity and delivery location, must be calculated and displayed in real time. For the customer, it feels simple—a few entries, an immediate concrete price. In the background, there is cleanly implemented logic that pulls data from the system and processes it.

This is customer service that has a direct impact on the purchasing process: no waiting for an offer by email, no call back—but immediate, reliable information. For a company that operates under the slogan “Energy with sympathy" that’s a perfect fit.

Why a modern website for energy providers has to do more

The energy sector faces particular digital challenges: prices change daily, customers expect fast and transparent information, and the ordering process should be as straightforward as possible. A website that does not meet these requirements loses potential customers before the first point of contact. For Kreuzmayr, it was therefore important not only to create a modern web presence, but one that actively supports sales. The live-calculated order form is far more than a nice feature—it is a direct service contribution that reduces call volume, speeds up purchasing decisions, and strengthens customers’ trust in the company.

With innovative services like the order form, Kreuzmayr meets its customers decisively on the last mile of the purchasing process and stands out through excellent customer service. We find that exceedingly sympathetic.
