We carried out a complete website relaunch for Hitachi Power Tools Austria. Now the extensive product information is presented in the design specified by the group. The proven features such as, for example, in-depth product data, automated data sheets, online flip catalogs, etc. are available as usual.
By using the PIM, even in the first expansion stage of the project – the creation of the classic website – all requirements for the later integration of an e-shop could be taken into account. Our PIM system enables Hitachi Austria to manage all item information themselves and present it on the web.

A manufacturer like Hitachi Power Tools works with an extensive range of power tools that is regularly updated: new models are added, technical specifications change, data sheets must be provided in multiple languages. Without a central product information system, that means: every change has to be manually maintained in multiple places — on the website, in the catalog, in the PDF data sheets. A PIM system solves this problem by managing all product data in one central location and automatically delivering it from there into all output channels. For Hitachi Austria, this means specifically: item information is maintained once in the PIM and is then automatically available on the website, in the flip catalog, and as print-ready PDF data sheets. The decisive advantage, however, lies in future-proofing: because the PIM was designed from the outset as the data foundation, the later integration of an e-shop is possible without major additional effort — the product data is already structured, complete, and e-commerce-ready.
