Lacoste: Platform for worldwide order management
After the e-commerce platform for the international luxury fashion label Lacoste was successfully launched in Asia at the beginning of the year, the rollout in South America has now also been successfully completed. This marks the next step in the international implementation, and the solution is available on multiple continents.
The platform coordinates the complex, worldwide ordering process between garment manufacturers and logo producers. It precisely controls which logo manufacturer supplies which textile manufacturer – enabled by a complex item mapping with numerous attributes. In addition to detailed product presentation and functional complaint management, particular attention was paid to fraud management in order to detect, minimize, and monitor any potential licensing violations. The legal backgrounds of the individual parties – in particular their terms and conditions – were also taken into account.
Furthermore, the solution manages the procurement and allocation of advertising materials for global campaigns and ensures that the correct advertising materials in the correct quantities are available in stores worldwide.
The successful completion of the rollout in South America underscores the ongoing expansion and the successful global implementation of the platform.
