Weiß Handels GmbH – Websites for three department stores

Department store group shines with new websites

For Weiß Handels GmbH, we implemented the new websites for the three department stores Pro Kaufland Linz, Welas Park Wels and Tabor Steyr. In doing so, we relied entirely on responsive design (by raum22) to ensure the pages can be displayed optimally on all devices. Another highlight is the fully automated transfer and display of the weekly specials at item level. This makes it possible to present the entire content of the leaflets online and to save individual items in a watchlist or print them.

What technically sets the Weiß Handels project apart is the fully automated transfer of the weekly specials at item level. That sounds unspectacular – but it isn’t: Anyone who has ever tried to maintain flyer promotions manually on a website knows how error-prone and time-consuming that is. The automated solution takes care of it and makes the entire flyer content digitally searchable.

The fact that customers can save or print individual items in a watchlist is a small detail with a big impact: It translates the classic shopping-list principle into the digital world and makes weekly planning easier. Three department stores – Pro Kaufland Linz, Welas Park Wels and Tabor Steyr – benefit from this solution at the same time, developed in conjunction with the responsive design by raum22.
