Secure funding now and get started digitally with syreta!
The “DIGITAL STARTER” digitisation initiative of the Province of Upper Austria and the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce is entering the next round.
With the help of the funding opportunities, Upper Austrian businesses are to be supported in implementing future-oriented company digitisation solutions and thus expanding their competitiveness.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR FUNDING?
Provided that the companies themselves do not offer digitization services or IT solutions, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Upper Austria and active members of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKOÖ) have been able to submit their applications for the new digital funding since March 15, 2023 .
WHAT IS FUNDED?
As in the previous year, the funding package is divided into two sub-areas. In the “DigiPROJECT” area, the planning and implementation of a digitization project are funded. The additional funding “DigiBONUS” can be applied for if “DigiPROJECT” has set priorities in the areas of “cyber security” or “sustainability”.
HOW IS FUNDING PROVIDED?
Small and medium-sized enterprises that have been approved for funding receive it in the form of a non-repayable grant, transferred directly to the bank account they have provided after the project has been completed.
The funding programs in detail: Basic funding “DigiPROJEKT”:
A prerequisite for the funding is that the project costs of the undertaking amount to at least € 5,000 net. The funding amount is set at 40% of the total costs and a maximum of € 4,000. SMEs can apply for funding for the conception and/or implementation of projects with the following focuses:
Additional funding “DigiBONUS”:
In addition to a “DigiPROJECT”, companies can also set a focus in the form of the “DigiBONUS”. Here, too, a maximum of 40% of the costs are covered. For the “Cyber Security Bonus”, this would be up to € 5.000, -, and in the area of “Sustainability” a maximum of € 1.000, -. If both areas are even covered, a further maximum of € 5.000, - in funding can be applied for in total with the defined focus.

By combining a “DigiPROJEKT” with the two focus areas of the additional funding “DigiBONUS”, you have the unique opportunity to increase your funding amount to a total maximum of € 10,000.
