With a wealth of know-how and enthusiasm, Velvety was one of the first Austrian companies to dedicate itself to the development and production of solid cosmetics. In addition to the well-known product, hand soap, Velvety offers all accessories for hair, body, and facial care in solid form. The certified natural cosmetics without artificial additives not only protect the skin, but also our environment.

We were then given the opportunity to create a new, clean website for the cosmetics manufacturer for B2B and B2C customers, including a webshop. Alongside the fresh design, it stands out above all for its easy handling and numerous technical features. An interface to Austrian Post ensures smooth shipping of the premium bathroom helpers, and the BMD interface helps the company process orders quickly and seamlessly. Optimization for all end devices puts the finishing touch on it all - something that really cleans up well.

What distinguishes Velvety as a brand and as an e-commerce project is consistency. Solid cosmetics without plastic packaging, without artificial additives, without animal testing - these are not marketing promises, but the company’s foundation. The webshop has to convey that: honest, clear, no frills.

That the solution serves both B2B and B2C at the same time shows the maturity of the e-commerce concept. Private customers shop via the store, retailers receive their own terms and processes - all via one platform. The Post interface and BMD integration in the background ensure that operations run smoothly even as volume grows.

Sustainability in e-commerce - when values must also be felt digitally

Velvety stands for a clear stance: no plastic packaging, no animal testing, certified natural cosmetics. These values must also be reflected in the digital presence — in the imagery, in the writing style, in the product presentation. A website that doesn’t fit the brand undermines precisely the trust that a company like Velvety has built with its customers. syreta took this claim into account from the very beginning of the implementation: the design is clear and reduced, the product images convey the naturalness of the cosmetics, and the technical features — Post interface, BMD integration, responsiveness — work in the background without overloading the presence. That the shop serves both B2B and B2C customers at the same time makes the project technically more demanding than it appears at first glance — because resellers and end customers have different requirements for prices, minimum order quantities, and communication. Bringing both together in a clean, uniform interface: that is the real achievement behind this project.
