New webshop for Strasshof: F. DICK products digital, integrated and future-proof

syreta was able to implement a new webshop for the company Strasshof, through which high-quality products from the traditional manufacturer F. DICK are distributed. The goal of the project was to create a high-performance online shop that appeals to both B2B and B2C customers while also being seamlessly integrated into the existing system landscape.

Unified shopping experience for B2B and B2C
The new webshop was realized based on the syreta shop system and specifically designed for the requirements of different customer groups. Both business customers and end customers benefit from a clear structure, fast product search, and intuitive user guidance. The result is a unified shopping experience that combines professionalism and ease of use.

Fully automatic connection to BMD
A key part of the project was the fully automated interface to BMD. Via this connection, the following are synchronized in real time:

  • Item master data
  • Prices
  • Stock levels
  • Orders

This eliminates manual maintenance effort, reduces sources of error, and significantly speeds up processes. The webshop is therefore always up to date - from availability to order processing.

Transparent stock information through a traffic-light system
To provide customers with early clarity about delivery capability, a stock availability display with a traffic-light system was implemented. At a glance, it is clear whether a product is immediately available, available at short notice, or currently out of stock. This transparency increases planning reliability and strengthens trust in the online shop.

Secure and modern payment processing with Stripe
Stripe is used for payment processing. This provides modern, secure, and established payment methods that are convincing in both B2B and B2C environments. The integration was seamless within the checkout process and supports a smooth purchase completion.

SEO and performance focus from the very beginning
Already in the conceptual phase, there was a clear focus on search engine optimization and performance. The webshop was built with clean technical implementation, load times were optimized, and an SEO-friendly structure was implemented. This creates the foundation for good visibility in search engines and sustainable further development of the project.
