Rail OÖ – new website of Schiene OÖ GmbH

Together with the agency Raum22 from Traun, we created the website for Schiene OÖ GmbH. Schiene OÖ serves as the state rail infrastructure company and is currently tasked with the takeover of ÖBB regional rail lines by the state as well as the planned implementation of the (city) RegioTram projects in the greater Linz area. The website is intended to inform the public about current projects and progress.

What makes Schiene OÖ interesting as a client is the social relevance of the topic. The takeover of ÖBB regional rail lines by the state and the planned CityRegioTram in the greater Linz area are initiatives that directly affect many people. A website that provides information about them therefore has to do more than a technical data sheet: it must explain projects in an understandable way, make progress visible, and build trust.

Together with Raum22, syreta implemented exactly that: a clear, accessible presence that keeps the public up to date – about one of the most important infrastructure projects in Upper Austria.

Public relations for infrastructure projects – a special communication task

Schiene OÖ GmbH is entrusted with tasks that have a direct impact on the lives of hundreds of thousands of Upper Austrians: the takeover of regional rail lines and the planning of the RegioTram in the greater Linz area. Such projects are complex, long-term, and often of public interest — and that is precisely why a clear, up-to-date, well-structured website is not a minor matter, but a central communication tool. Citizens, municipalities, political decision-makers, and the media should be able to know at any time where the projects stand, what is planned next, and how they can get information or get involved.

Agency partner Raum22 and syreta – proven division of responsibilities

The collaboration with the agency Raum22 from Traun is a familiar and proven model for syreta: Raum22 is responsible for concept and design, syreta for the technical implementation. This clear division of responsibilities ensures that both partners work in their core area — without compromises in quality. For Schiene OÖ GmbH, that means: a website that not only looks good, but also functions reliably from a technical standpoint, is easy to maintain, and meets the requirements of a public institution for accessibility and user-friendliness.
