Strasshof: Automated online sales through BMD ERP integration
B2B and B2C webshop with real-time synchronization of products, prices and stock levels
Project overview
Digital Sales for High-Quality Branded Products
For Strasshof, syreta implemented a modern webshop for the digital distribution of F. DICK products. The goal was a high-performance e-commerce solution that appeals equally to B2B and B2C customers and is fully integrated into the existing system landscape.
Initial situation
Manual processes and lack of a digital sales foundation
Before the project started, there was no central platform for online sales, which meant processes were manual and not very scalable. Product data, orders, and inventory information could not be synchronized automatically.
Solution
Webshop with seamless BMD ERP integration
syreta developed a webshop based on its own shop system with fully automated integration with BMD Business Software. Item master data, prices, stock levels and orders are synchronized in real time and centrally managed.
Process today
Fully digitized e-commerce processes throughout
The webshop now maps a fully digital ordering process in which all relevant data is automatically exchanged between the webshop and the ERP system. This eliminates manual interventions and processes run efficiently, consistently, and transparently.
Result
Efficient processes and scalable online sales
Strasshof has a stable, high-performance e-commerce solution that sustainably supports digital sales. Automation reduces sources of errors, saves time, and creates a reliable foundation for further growth.
Conclusion
Future-proof webshop solution with a high degree of automation
With the new webshop and the deep ERP integration, Strasshof has taken a decisive step towards process digitalization. The solution combines modern online sales with automated workflows and long-term added value.
ERP integration as the foundation of digital sales
An online shop without ERP integration is like a brick-and-mortar store without a cash register system: it works, but only with considerable manual effort. Product data has to be maintained twice, inventory levels can become outdated, price changes have to be updated manually - and every order creates additional work in the back office. For a retailer like Strasshof, which sells F. DICK products to both end customers and business customers, reliable real-time synchronization between the online shop and the BMD ERP is therefore not a convenience option, but an operational necessity. If a customer sees in the shop that a product is available, that must actually be true - and if an order comes in, it should automatically end up in the ERP without anyone having to transfer it manually. That is exactly what the solution developed by syreta delivers: an online shop that does not run alongside the ERP system, but as an integrated part of it.
