Internationally operating EG Group now also uses the Store Lifecycle Tool
SLT enables chain operators to simplify supply management
Euro Garages was founded in 2001 by the Issa family in Great Britain and is a leading global independent provider of a wide range of convenience formats. Its core business field is fuels. As early as March 2001, the EG Group entered into a partnership with the oil company BP and acquired the first BP-branded site in Bury/Manchester, England. In the same year, a cooperation with Shell followed, and in 2013 and 2014 with Esso. In 2018, the EG Group acquired the entire Esso network in Germany and in 2022 that of OMV Germany. To manage the German service-station network, EG has now opted for the Store Lifecycle Tool.
Store Lifecycle Tool supports and shortens business processes
With the acquisition of the Esso and OMV service-station networks in Germany, around 1,200 sites were transferred to the EG Group. These need to be coordinated and organized. With the Store Lifecycle Tool, syreta provides the group with a unique platform on which all German service stations can be coordinated and organized. Particularly exciting here is the topic of product management, which enables the corporation to supply all service stations quickly and easily with advertising materials and consumables.
1,200 locations, one platform
Coordinating more than 1,200 service stations – spread across Germany – places very different demands on a management system than a classic single site. Advertising materials must be delivered to the right branches on time, consumables must be available, and changes in the assortment or promotions must be rolled out quickly and error-free across the entire network. This is exactly where the Store Lifecycle Tool comes in: a central platform via which chain operators can manage, supply, and control their locations in a structured way – without email ping-pong, without manual lists, without loss of information between headquarters and the site. That the EG Group has chosen SLT for its German network is also a confirmation for syreta: the platform is scalable and practical – even in international, group-wide use.
We warmly welcome the EG Group to the syreta family and look forward to being able to support them in their processes in the future.
