Joka - Living with Charm: Website Relaunch for an Austrian Traditional Company

Technically implemented to be future-proof - together with the lead agency SIT from Linz

Together with the SIT agency from Linz, syreta relaunched the website for the traditional company Joka from Schwanenstadt. Joka is the leading manufacturer of high-quality sleep and living systems. Decades of experience and consistent further development have resulted in a product range at the highest level. As part of the brand repositioning, the website was also redesigned - the graphic concept was provided by the lead agency SIT from Linz.

syreta’s task was the technically future-proof implementation of the website. In addition to a Content Management System, a Product Information Management System was also used to manage the numerous products easily and quickly. This is complemented by online data sheet creation, a newsletter integration, and an extended display of articles.

Via the integrated dealer search, customers can find the nearest specialist dealers. In addition, a dedicated B2B area was created for the numerous dealers, in which all relevant data - including an image database and a forum - is provided.

What technically distinguishes the Joka relaunch in 2010 is the combined use of CMS and PIM - at a time when product information systems on corporate websites were anything but standard. For a manufacturer with a broad range of sleep and living systems, the structured management of product data, images, and data sheets is no small matter. The PIM system makes exactly that possible: central data maintenance, automated output, consistent presentation.

The B2B area for dealers with an image database and forum shows that Joka takes its partners seriously - and that syreta understood from the very beginning that a website can be more than a business card.

CMS and PIM together - why the combination is crucial for product manufacturers

For a manufacturer like Joka, which sells an extensive range of sleep and living systems, a classic Content Management System alone is not enough. Product information — dimensions, materials, variants, technical data, images — is complex, must be updated regularly, and should be available both on the website and in the B2B area for dealers. A Product Information Management System solves exactly this task: it centralizes all product data in one place and provides it consistently across various channels. The combination of a CMS for editorial content and a PIM for product data is therefore the professional foundation for any manufacturer that wants to set up its brand digitally in a clean way. The fact that Joka additionally received its own B2B area with an image database and a forum for specialist dealers shows how syreta was already thinking holistically in 2010 — end customers and dealers in one system, seamlessly connected.
