Multimedia exhibition stand

For the internationally active Austrian market leader in the field of "installation systems for electrical engineering", Dietzel GmbH, syreta provided the technical backbone for the trade-fair booth of the 21st century. Known for years for extraordinary and creative trade-fair booth concepts, Mr. Prok. Oliver Ferner-Prantner and his innovative team once again managed to create a sensation at the "Power-Days 2011" in Salzburg.
Under the motto "Firefighter", Dietzel’s specialists presented the products of the new LSF0H series (LS=low smoke, F = flame retardant, 0H = zero halogen) to enthusiastic trade-fair visitors and ensured an enjoyable experience through strong interaction with customers.
The visual appearance, a high entertainment factor, and competent product consulting formed the three well-thought-out and professionally implemented focal points of the successful concept. For the latter two, syreta implemented a multimedia overall solution.
Three game stations, consisting of a skill game, a quiz game (from a pool of questions, 10 questions per participant were displayed on a touch-screen monitor via a random generator), and a Wii game, provided lots of fun and excitement.
For the first two games, speed was decisive, and in the case of the Wii game, achieving the highest possible score within a defined time window was key. Participant registration as well as timekeeping and score recording were carried out via iPhone or iPad and transmitted directly to the server via Wi‑Fi and assigned to the customer.
The browser-based solution developed by syreta automatically converted the achieved score (from the Wii game) into time based on a defined key and promptly delivered the overall result and the participant’s corresponding ranking. The score list was updated automatically and the TOP TEN rankings were displayed on a dedicated large-format monitor. In addition, the display appeared as a screensaver on touch-screen monitors if they were not used for more than two minutes.
All product catalogs were available for customer discussions as digital flip catalogs and could be conveniently browsed on the touch-screen monitors. To spare customers from "carrying around" catalogs, Dietzel employees could also note the sending of desired product documents on a customer-specific basis via iPhone or iPad.
A special export function enabled Dietzel to quickly and easily transfer the collected customer data into its own CRM system, thus ensuring professional follow-up of trade-fair contacts.
When asked about the collaboration with syreta and the quality of the solution delivered, Mr. Prok. Oliver Ferner-Pranter especially praised the pleasant and precise communication, the very fast implementation of the requirements, and the optimal cost/benefit ratio.

What this project says about syreta

The multimedia trade-fair booth for Dietzel from 2011 shows something that still holds true today: syreta does not think in categories. Whether website, interface, gamification system, or real-time scoreboard—the question is always the same: What does the customer need in order to achieve their goal? In this case, the goal was attention, customer loyalty, and clean lead capture at a trade fair. The solution was a browser-based overall architecture that connected game stations, time tracking, CRM export, and digital catalogs into one coherent system—developed and implemented in a short time, with the result that counts: enthusiastic trade-fair visitors and usable customer data.
