LET'S DOIT: Omnichannel commerce for over 50 specialist retailers
Networking of ERP systems, webshop, customer card and brick-and-mortar retail
Project overview
Omnichannel commerce for over 50 specialist retailers
For 3e Handels- und Dienstleistungs AG, syreta developed a central omnichannel platform for the LET'S DOIT brand. The goal was the seamless integration of brick-and-mortar retail, the online shop, the customer card, advisory systems, and external sales channels to provide customers with a consistent shopping experience.
Initial situation
Different systems and large volumes of data
With around 50 locations and multiple connected systems, prices, inventory levels and product information had to be kept continuously up to date. The challenge was to network different ERP systems and sales channels with one another while reliably processing large volumes of transaction data.
Solution
Central omnichannel platform with comprehensive system integration
syreta developed a central platform to connect SAP, BMD and MDS with the webshop, consultation terminals, electronic shelf labels (ESL), the customer card app as well as marketplaces such as Amazon. Prices, stock levels and product data are automatically synchronized and provided in real time.
Process today
Consistent data across all sales channels
Today, current prices, availability, and product information are available across all channels. Customers benefit from Click & Collect, personalized offers, and transparent inventory levels, while retailers can access a centralized and automated data foundation.
Result
Efficient processes and a modern shopping experience
The omnichannel platform creates a consistent customer experience across all channels. At the same time, manual effort is reduced and data processes are automated. Retailers receive a scalable solution for the requirements of modern commerce.
Conclusion
Digital networking as a success factor in retail
With the omnichannel platform developed by syreta, LET'S DOIT connects brick-and-mortar retail, digital sales channels, and internal systems into a powerful overall solution. The result is efficient processes, up-to-date data, and a modern shopping experience.
What an omnichannel platform technically means for 50 locations
Building an omnichannel solution for a single store is one thing. Scaling the same solution for more than 50 specialist retailers with different assortments, individual prices, independent inventories, and various ERP systems is quite another. At LET'S DOIT, SAP, BMD, and MDS come together as data sources – plus in-store consultation terminals, electronic shelf labels, a customer card app, and external marketplaces like Amazon. Each of these interfaces must work in real time, because an outdated stock level or an incorrect price in any of the channels immediately undermines customer trust. The central platform that syreta developed for LET'S DOIT is therefore far more than a webshop with a few integrations – it is the digital nervous system of a modern specialist retail group, bringing all channels and systems together into a consistent shopping experience.
